The price of fuel paid by participants (450AUD) and food is not included in the price of the expedition.

The plan of the trip

Day 1

We are meeting at the airport in Warsaw and flying to Melbourne.

Day 2

We are landing in Melbourne, the capital of Wiktoria state. In the evening we are having supper in the hotel where we are staying.

Day 3 – 210 km

In the morning we are checking motorbikes and buying provisions for our expedition. We are packing the equipment into the service car which will accompany us on the route. In the afternoon we are leaving the city, heading to south-west using M1 motorway. After passing the Geelong city we are entering Great Ocean Road which goes along the shore of the Indian Ocean also called the South Ocean. We are riding into the “Great Otway” National Park. We are taking a short stop at he aightpollo Bay seaside resort . We are driving to Cape Otway. We are staying on a camping site surrounded by koala bears.

Day 4 – 350 km

We are riding along Great Ocean Road. We are going through the most vivid fragment of this route, experiencing fantastic views on rocky cliffs and huge waves. We are having short breaks in places such as sticking out of the ocean “12 Apostles” (rocks which are visiting card of this part of Australia), Loch Ard ravine, and rock London Bridge which has collapsed a few years ago. Next, we are riding through typically agricultural Wiktoria’ s part. We are taking a short break in Portland. In the evening we are riding along picturesque road to Nelson. Accommodation on a camping site.

Day 5 – 450 km

We are entering Southern Australia. We are taking all-day ride along Princes Highway to Adelaide. On the way we are having a stop in nice seaside towns Beachport and Kingston . Right before Adelaide we will incise the Murray River in Murray Bridge. The last part of the road will be a real dual carriageway. Hotel accommodation in Adelaide.

Day 6 – 310 km

We are touring Adelaide. We are visiting a local supermarket, China Town, the Square of Victory, and King William’s Street. We are replenishing our food supplies for the next part of the trip. Next, we are riding north to Port August, where civilization ends and “outback” starts. Accommodation on a camping site.

Day 7  – 530 km

We are entering famous Stuart Highway. An asphalt road cuts the desert centre of Australia from the north to the south. We are riding north to Coober Pedy. It is a town located on a desert and well-known for the output of most valuable and most expensive opals in the world. Coober Pedy surroundings also served producers of Mad Max films. From now a typical view for us will be flat, desert land up to the horizon full of salty, dry lakes with rare human settlements. We are trying to reach a city and stay in a hotel.

Day 8 – 420 km

We are taking Stuart Highway to Kulgera town in the Northern Territory. The road leads over 400 km through complete wildernesses, where we will come across only two little towns. The Stuart Highway is one of main transit roads in Australia. It was fully laid with asphalt in the middle of the 80s in the 20th century. Accommodation on the camping site in Kulgera.

Day 9 – 320 km

We are riding to the national park “Uluru – Kata Tjuta”. After reaching Erldunda town we will leave Highway Stuart and turn into Lasseter Highway in order to reach Yulara town. After entering into the national park we are walking to the foot of Uluru, the symbol of Australia and the holy mountain of Aborigines. We are having a steak of kangaroo for supper. Accommodation on a camping site in Yulara.

Day 10 – 500 km

We are riding back along already known road to Marla in Southern Australia. Accommodation on a camping site.

Day 11 – 410 km

We are entering famous Oodnadatta Track, a metalled road which leads through desert and remote areas of Southern Australia. In Australia the maintenance of metalled roads is on a high level what enables riders to ride really fast. A strong rainfall which sometimes excludes these roads from use can be a sole obstacle. We are having a short stop in Oodnadatta town which is exactly half the way. In the evening we are reaching the second settlement on a trail – William Creek. Accommodation on a camping site.

Day 12 – 320 km

We are riding Oodnadatta Track to Marree town, and then we are taking a road with a similar surface to Leigh Creek. On the way we are stopping by salty Eyre South Lake and Coward springs. Accommodation on a camping site in Leigh Creek.

Day 13 – 400 km

We are leaving mettaled roads behind. We are entering an asphalt road B83. We are riding south to Burra town. On the way we are stopping in “Ranges Flinders” national park. Accommodation on a camping site in Burra.

Day 14 – 410 km

We are riding east. After reaching Waikerie town we are entering Stuart Highway. We are ride along the River Murray which is the longest and largest river in Australia. On the way we are having stops in Renmark and Mildura. Accommodation on a camping site in Robinvale right on the river in Wiktoria state.

Day 15 – 260 km

We are riding along the valley of the Murray River. The route along picturesque Murray Valley Highway. We are having numerous stops along the river bank and lakes. Hotel accommodation in Echuca.

Day 16 – 210 km

We are riding back to Melbourne. We are sightseeing the city. We are flying back to Poland in the evening.

Day 17

We are landing in Warsaw.
